A Real Salt Lake DLS kits URL is a direct link to a 512×512 PNG RSL shirt you paste into Dream League Soccer. All four slots are below, and each file was loaded into the game before being added to this page.

The home kit asks more of a file maker than any other shirt covered here. Not because of its texture or finish, but because of its geometry.
Three horizontal stripes is the hardest alignment job in MLS
The 2026 home kit is mainly navy, with three red horizontal stripes, each carrying a very subtle graphic design.
Why that multiplies the difficulty
A horizontal band has to match in three places on the kit template: across the front, around both side seams and onto the back, as well as where the sleeve begins. A vertical stripe only needs one alignment position.
Each stripe has two edges: a top edge and a bottom edge. With three stripes, that gives you six edges to align. Since every edge needs to match in three places, the total comes to eighteen alignment points.
For comparison, a vertical stripe has just two edges and one alignment position, giving it two points to manage. A single horizontal band has six. Samsunspor’s three-colour band has four edges across three positions, making twelve. RSL’s three horizontal stripes reach eighteen, making this the highest alignment count documented on this site.
Only the New England Revolution’s sunburst is harder, and for a different reason. Its difficulty comes from direction count rather than edge count, with every ray meeting each seam at its own angle.
And a broken stripe is immediately visible
Horizontal stripes have an obvious logic: they should be parallel, evenly spaced and continuous all the way around the shirt.
If one edge shifts at a seam, it looks like a mistake rather than part of the design. Unlike a brushstroke or splatter pattern, there is no natural irregularity to hide an alignment error.
The check
Import the home kit and look at the player from the side and the back.
Does each stripe continue across the side seam at the same height?
Do the stripes remain parallel from every angle?
Is the spacing between them even all the way around?
If any stripe shifts where the front panel meets the back, the file was built on the wrong template.
This is one where the browser test is not enough. A set of horizontal stripes can look flawless in a flat image and still break at every seam once wrapped onto the player model.
The subtle graphic inside the stripes will not survive
Each red stripe carries a very subtle graphic design.
Subtle is the operative word. A low-contrast pattern is usually the first detail to disappear in a 512×512 file. Here, it is also placed inside a narrow band, which is one of the least forgiving areas for fine detail.
There are two problems working against it: low contrast and limited space.
Expect three flat red stripes. That is not a fault in your file.
The good news is that the missing detail does not cost you much visually. Red against navy creates strong contrast, and the three bold stripes still look correct from match distance, even without their internal pattern.
The Black Diamond third
Released on 13 August 2026 as part of the adidas x MLS Archive Collection, the Black Diamond third is notable for arriving at all, since RSL’s 2025 Archive kit was cancelled before release.
The design uses a dark base with claret red peaks symbolising the Wasatch Mountains. Instead of the usual chest sponsor, it features a stylised “ReAL SALT LAKE” wordmark in a vintage serif font, complete with swooping tails and a yellow crown resting on the E.
What survives
The mountain graphic reproduces well. It stretches across the torso, which is the largest area of the kit template. Its jagged peaks are bold, angular shapes with hard edges, making them well suited to compression.
The wordmark holds up too. Its large lettering sits in the centre of the chest and contrasts clearly against the dark base.
The crown is the detail to check. It sits on top of a single letter, making it one of the smallest elements on the shirt. If the crown remains recognisable at full size, the file is good.
The gold is partly lost
Gold appears on the wordmark, Adidas logo, crest, collar and cuff trim.
Gold looks metallic because of its gradients: highlights, mid-tones and shadows working together in a small area. A flat 512×512 image cannot always preserve that effect.
How much survives depends on the width of each detail. The large wordmark should remain visible as flat yellow, while the fine gold trim around the collar and cuffs will effectively disappear.
And the wordmark replaces the sponsor
This is worth knowing because it affects your badge placement.
The shirt has no chest sponsor. The wordmark occupies that space instead.
Dream League Soccer draws your imported crest on the chest, so check the wordmark’s position at full size before importing your badge. On a shirt built around centred lettering, the crest may end up sitting directly over it.
Four other Archive Collection kits replace their usual crest entirely: Montréal’s Impact badge, Vancouver’s 86ers logo, Philadelphia’s coiled snake and Orlando’s USL lion. So check whether the RSL third carries a different mark too before setting your badge.
Which RSL kit survives best?
The home kit is the hardest file to get right because its three horizontal stripes create eighteen alignment points. Every edge needs to line up correctly across the template, so checking the seams in-game is essential.
The Black Diamond third is much easier to reproduce. Its mountain graphic covers a large area of the torso, and its bold shapes hold up well at 512×512. The away kit should be compared against the card to see how accurately its design has been reproduced.
What number colours work on RSL’s kits?
Dream League Soccer reads the number colour from two small swatches on the kit template, not from your image. One controls the shirt numbers, while the other controls the shorts.
For the home kit, white is the best choice. It stands out clearly against both the navy base and the red stripes. Avoid red numbers because the stripes continue across the back, where a red number could disappear into one of them.
For the third kit, white or gold can work. White offers the clearest visibility at number size, while gold will appear flat rather than metallic.
Set the shirt and shorts swatches separately.
How visible are the kits on the pitch?
Both kits read clearly, and the home is the stronger of the two.
Dream League Soccer renders players at a relatively small size, so visibility depends on how much the shirt colour stands apart from the grass.
Navy sits well clear of pitch green, so there is no real blending risk, although the base colour is dark on its own.
The three red stripes are what make the home kit work. Red contrasts strongly with green, and the three bold horizontal bands give the shirt much more visual definition than a plain navy design would have.
The third kit is darker overall, with its claret mountain peaks and gold wordmark providing the brighter details. It remains visible on the pitch, but it has a deeper appearance than the home shirt.
How to tell if an RSL file is current
Four details will help you identify the correct kits.
First, check the Adidas branding, since all thirty MLS clubs wear Adidas. The home kit should be navy with three red horizontal stripes. The third kit should feature the mountain graphic and the serif “ReAL SALT LAKE” wordmark with its crown.
Finally, remember that a white, water-themed third kit does not exist as an officially released shirt. That 2025 design was cancelled before release, so any file claiming to be the official version is someone’s recreation.
How to use a Real Salt Lake DLS kits URL
Copy the link using the button on the card, not from your browser’s address bar. The address bar usually gives you the webpage rather than the direct image link.
Open Dream League Soccer and tap My Club, followed by Customise. Go into the Kit section, not Logo, because the two options are separate systems.
Choose the kit slot you want to replace before pasting the URL. Whatever slot is currently open is the one that gets changed. Press and hold the URL field, tap Paste, then select Confirm. Older versions of the game may label that button Download.
The three outfield slots are used for home, away and third kits, leaving the goalkeeper kit as the fourth slot. All four appear together on the team screen, so it is worth setting the goalkeeper kit rather than leaving the default.
The first custom kit requires a one-time gem unlock. After that, changing your kits is free.
Test the link first
Open the URL in your browser before using it in the game. The image should appear on its own and fill the screen, while the address should end in .png.
If you see a webpage with buttons, headers or other elements surrounding the picture, you have a viewer page rather than a direct image link. Dream League Soccer cannot read that type of URL.
For the RSL home kit, importing it and checking the seams is the real test. The flat image cannot tell you whether all eighteen alignment points will stay in place once the shirt is wrapped around the player model.
Why do Real Salt Lake kit URLs stop working?
Three things can break kit links, and only one is immediately obvious.
The first problem is that free image hosts delete files. Some services remove unused uploads after months or years. The original link may still look valid, but opening it returns nothing.
The second issue is hotlink protection. When an image host enables this feature, it blocks requests that do not come from its own website. Your browser might load the image normally, while the game’s request gets refused. This explains why a URL can work when you click it but fail when you paste it into Dream League Soccer.
The third problem is that the preview and the actual link may point to different files. Some websites display a thumbnail hosted on their own server but provide a download URL that points somewhere else. The preview can continue working even after the actual image link has stopped functioning.
Here, the shirt you see and the link you copy are the same file on the same server.
The Real Salt Lake badge
Set the crest during the same session, using the same menu but choosing Logo instead of Kit.
RSL’s crest is a shield in claret and cobalt, featuring the club’s name and a crown.
Dream League Soccer crops every imported badge into a circle. Since a shield narrows towards its base, use an image with enough clear space around the full design instead of one cropped tightly to the artwork.
The crown sits at the top of the crest, which is also where a circular crop can cut most aggressively. That is another reason to leave enough padding around the badge.
Keeping your RSL kits
Custom kits are stored on your device rather than in your account. Game updates usually leave them intact, but reinstalling the game or switching to a new phone can remove them. Your imported badge can disappear too.
A home file where all three stripes stay aligned at every seam is genuinely hard to find. Once you have one that works, keep a record of it. Copy all four kit URLs into a notes app before you start importing them.
FAQ FOR RANK MATH
What is a Real Salt Lake DLS kits URL?
A direct link to a 512×512 PNG RSL shirt that you paste into Dream League Soccer’s kit screen. A working direct image link ends in .png.
Why is the RSL home kit hard to reproduce?
The three horizontal stripes create six edges, and each edge must align across the front, around both side seams and at the sleeve. That gives the design eighteen alignment points in total, compared with just two for a vertical stripe.
How do I check an RSL home kit file?
Import it into the game and inspect the player from the side and back. Each stripe should continue across the seam at the same height, remain parallel and keep even spacing all the way around.
Will the graphic inside the stripes show up?
No. The pattern is subtle and sits inside a narrow band, making it difficult to preserve in a 512×512 image. Expect three flat red stripes, which still look correct from match distance.
What is the Black Diamond kit?
RSL’s 2026 third shirt, released as part of the adidas x MLS Archive Collection. It features a dark base, claret peaks symbolising the Wasatch Mountains and a vintage serif “ReAL SALT LAKE” wordmark topped with a gold crown.
Does the mountain graphic survive?
Yes. It stretches across the torso, the largest area of the kit template, and its bold, jagged shapes reproduce well after compression.
Was there a 2025 RSL third kit?
No. A white, water-inspired design referencing the Great Salt Lake was prepared but cancelled before release. Any file claiming to be that official kit is a recreation.
What number colour should I use on the home?
White is the best option. Avoid red because the stripes run across the back, where a red number could blend into one of them.
